The Runaways
Screening & Reception
Posted on 30 January 2017
On Thursday, February 23 at Full Frame Theater, RUNAWAY will host its first screening of The Runaways, a mini-doc series shot and edited entirely by documentary filmmaker Ned Phillips.
Each episode of The Runaways highlights a local artist that embodies the mission of the brand to run from convention toward something greater than ourselves. Runaways include a burlesque dancer, a skateboarder and a motorcycle builder and more.
At the end of the screening, we will premiere the final episode of the Runaways, "The Puppetmaster," featuring local artist and puppeteer Jeghetto, renowned for his work with Missy Elliott.
After a 30 minute screening of six features total and a closing video statement from Ned Phillips himself, there will be a 30 minute Q&A session when the audience has the chance to ask the Runaways on stage some questions themselves. The event will close with a special announcement from Full Frame Marketing Director Michelle Benham.
Join us after the screening for a reception in The Boiler Room where we will offer refreshments, compliments of Bull Durham Brewery.
With limited seating set at 100 persons in the Full Frame Theater, we request all in attendance RSVP through this event page.
